That sounds like a perfect moment. I love the photo!

I looked up Elk in my book, Animal Speak," by Ted Andrews and some key words are: strength, nobility, power and stamina.

Isn't that perfect for how you and your DH approach each of the kids you have fostered?

According to this book (pp 270-271), "If an elk has come into your life it can mean that you are about to hit your stride. Elk may also have shown up to teach you how to pace yourself more effectively. Have you been overdoing? Have others around you? Have you given up or thought about giving up too soon?"
